1. Tomato and Cheese Muffins
Few party foods can compete with muffins, but we've put a twist on the classic recipe by using savory, Italian-inspired ingredients instead of sweet ones.
Ingredients:
- 450g flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 0.5 teaspoon oregano
- 1 egg
- 0.5 dl milk
- 100g butter
- 200g grated cheese (to taste)
- 100g sun-dried tomatoes
- A pinch of salt
Instructions: Mix the flour, salt, baking powder, basil, oregano, butter, milk, and egg thoroughly. Use a hand mixer to ensure a smooth batter! Once smooth, add the grated cheese and chopped sun-dried tomatoes. Spoon the batter into greased muffin tins and bake at 180°C for 20 minutes.

2. Corn Dog, the Classic American Party Food
Who doesn't love hot dogs? Wrapped in a batter and served with a variety of dips, they can be one of the most irresistible stars of your garden party. 😉
Ingredients:
- 14 mini hot dogs
- 1/2 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup flour
- A pinch of granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- Salt
- 1 egg
- 125 ml milk
- Oil for frying
Instructions: Cut off the ends of the hot dogs and skewer each one with a wooden stick. Mix the cornmeal and flour with the sugar, baking powder, and a bit of salt. Beat the egg with the milk, then add the flour mixture and blend until smooth. Heat about two fingers' width of oil in a pan: dip the hot dogs in the batter, then fry them until golden brown over medium heat.

3. Raspberry Crumble
It's no wonder people worldwide love crumbles: they are incredibly easy to make and a real show-stopper at parties. You can try them with various fruits, but we chose raspberries for this recipe.
Ingredients:
- 250g flour
- 7 tablespoons sugar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 150g butter
- 2 tablespoons rolled oats
- Salt
- 500g raspberries
Instructions: Wash and drain the raspberries thoroughly. Mix the flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, and oats. Add the diced cold butter and crumble it with your fingertips. Don’t let the dough come together completely; it should remain slightly crumbly. Grease a baking tray or dish with butter, spread the raspberries evenly on the bottom, sprinkle with sugar, and top with the crumble dough. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 30 minutes until golden brown.

3+1. Mini Strawberry Cakes
Don't let the word "cake" scare you; we're wrapping up our party food series with a really simple and creamy dessert recipe. Let's see what you need!
Ingredients:
- Store-bought sponge cake roll
- Strawberry jam for filling
- 4 dl heavy cream
- 250g mascarpone
- 150g powdered sugar
- 1 packet Gelatin Fix
- 250g strawberries
Instructions: Slice about 30 pieces of strawberries for decoration and dice the rest. Whip the heavy cream with the powdered sugar, add the Gelatin Fix, and then fold in the diced strawberries. We simplified things by choosing a store-bought sponge cake roll, but you can bake your own. Slice the sponge cake roll and spread strawberry jam on each slice. Add a dollop of cream on each and decorate with strawberry slices.
